The Slight Deviation

The Slight Deviation
Sometimes you just have to dive in

I know I originally intended for this blog to be centered specifically on my hiking adventures, and I promise we will return to those articles soon. However, my life has had an alignment shift recently—a drive unlike any other I’ve experienced before. In the past, I might have succumbed to internal fears and fallen off course, but this time, I’m diving headfirst into the uncertainty, embracing the fear and letting the strength of my inner soul shine.

I am forming a technology startup and my first application is officially on the market in the United States today. Yes, it’s April 1st—what an unlikely launch date! I didn't plan it this way; the stars simply aligned on their own. Unless there is a final delay, it should be live on the Apple App Store sometime today.

I’m writing this short post to share that working a full-time job, launching a startup, building the products, and running a business is a lot for a team of one. My time has been stretched thin, but I am making sure to carve out windows to work on my actual hiking posts—the original purpose of this blog.

My next two articles will cover my first true hike after transitioning from cardio walks to trails, and my trip to Yosemite last year. Those are coming soon, and this should be the last post unrelated to hiking. I’m hoping to launch my company website this weekend; once that’s live, all business-related updates will move over there.

Things are in motion and my life is transitioning to a new timeline. I hope you’ll understand and follow along on my journey. The hiking has never stopped—only the time devoted to writing has been limited. Please stay safe, and I hope you all have a beautiful time on the trails exploring nature.

The next post you see will be back to our regularly scheduled programming!

Update: It looks like my app might not be visible on the App Store today, as it can take a day or two for it to fully propagate through the system. If it's not live tonight, it should be up within the next 48 hours—potentially as early as tomorrow.
